Over the years we have caravanned together with Peter and Barbara so when Barbara was left to cope alone we continued to try to support her as best we could.  We took Barbara on holiday with us to several Warner sites and also to the Isle of Wight. Each time she would also stay on at home with us for several days.  She loved to do her Christmas shopping with us and also visit her favourite clothes shops. She was s joy to be with.  One of our earliest visits to Cornwall when she was still able to cook, she made delightful Cornish Pasties for our arrival. Brian promptly asked her for Brown Sauce ! How dare he!  That became a standing joke for many years. On her move to Carn Brae Court we were pleased to be able to help her pack and move. It was a great comfort to see her in a beautiful home where she could make many new friends and we were able to come and visit by staying in the guest room.  We have talked almost every week on the telephone and hopefully also kept her in touch with our comings and goings right to the end.  We have mer many of her family and our thoughts go out to them at this time of loss but  we are sure she has left them and us with many happy memories.  R.I.P. Barbara - No more pain !!
